Economic and Development Services is in charge of the follow-up for economic matters and is responsible for the following services :

The promotion of economic exchanges between Burkina Faso and countries within its jurisdiction ;

The promotion of decentralized co-operation (twinning-co-operation, nongovernmental co-operation) between burkinabe entities and those of countries within its jurisdiction.

Moreover, this service is in charge of collecting, processing and distributing data related to economic, commercial and financial information, for the purpose of promoting exchanges between Burkina Faso and Canada
